Can You Buy Minecraft with bKash? What Actually Works

No official Minecraft store takes bKash or Nagad directly (checked November 2026). The routes that work, why foreign gift cards fail, and reseller risks.

As far as we could find (checked November 2026), none of the official Minecraft stores (Google Play, the App Store, minecraft.net or the Microsoft Store) take bKash or Nagad directly. Google’s payment-methods page lists only Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover cards for countries without a dedicated entry, and Bangladesh has none. So the reliable way to buy Minecraft from Bangladesh is a card that works for international online payments. bKash helps only indirectly, and the most common “bKash route” doesn’t work the way sellers say.

Check your own options first

Payment options change, and Google sometimes adds local methods. Before you do anything else:

  1. Open the Play Store, tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions > Payment methods.
  2. See what’s listed under “Add payment method”. If bKash, Nagad or mobile operator billing shows up there, you can use it, and you can ignore the rest of this page.
  3. If you only see “Add credit or debit card”, you need a card.

Do the same in the App Store (Settings > your name > Payment & Shipping) on an iPhone.

The gift card trap

Facebook pages and top-up shops sell “Google Play gift cards” for bKash. Here’s the problem: Google’s help center says Play gift cards “may only be redeemed and used in the country and currency in which they were purchased”, and Bangladesh isn’t on Google’s list of gift card countries. The cards these shops sell are usually US cards, and some listings even say they only work for US accounts.

So the card won’t redeem on a Bangladeshi account. Sellers then suggest switching your Play country to the US with a VPN. Don’t. That breaks Google’s terms, can lock your account into the wrong country, and leaves any balance stranded. A Minecraft purchase made that way sits on an account you’re not really entitled to use.

The same logic applies to Apple gift cards and Microsoft gift cards: they only work for an account in the country they were issued for. Minecraft gift cards explains the region rules in more detail.

Routes that do work

A card with international payments turned on. Many Bangladeshi banks issue Visa or Mastercard debit, credit or dual-currency cards that work for online payments abroad, sometimes after you ask the bank to enable it. Call your bank and ask two questions: can this card pay Google Play or Microsoft, and what fee do you add?

A virtual card. Some banks and financial services in Bangladesh issue virtual Visa or Mastercard cards for online payments, and some can be topped up from a mobile wallet. Terms, limits and fees vary, so read them carefully and only use services run by licensed banks or well-known companies. This is the closest thing to “paying with bKash” that keeps your account clean.

A relative’s card or a gift. A family member in Bangladesh with a working card can add it to your Play Store account for the purchase and remove it afterwards. (A card issued in another country can clash with your account’s country, so a local card is simpler.) On PC, they can buy a Minecraft game code and you redeem it on your own Microsoft account (see how to redeem a Minecraft code). Ask them to confirm the code is valid in Bangladesh before paying.

Buying codes from a reseller

Some shops sell Minecraft game codes for PC and accept bKash. If you use one:

  • Make sure the listing says which region the code is for, and that it works in Bangladesh.
  • Pay only a shop with a real track record, not a stranger in a comment thread.
  • Never share your Microsoft password or a bKash PIN. A seller only needs to send you a code.
  • Redeem the code immediately, and keep the payment confirmation until the game shows up on your account.

A price far below normal usually means a code bought with a stolen card. Those get cancelled later, and the game disappears from your account.

Never buy an account

“Minecraft account, full access, cheap” listings sell someone else’s login. The original owner can recover it with one support request, and everything you built goes with it. If you’re already in that situation, see Minecraft accounts and security.

Once you’ve paid, install with how to download Minecraft on Android. For what the game costs in the first place, see Minecraft price in Bangladesh.

Common questions

Can I pay for Minecraft with bKash directly?

We couldn't find any official option to pay Google Play, Apple or Microsoft with bKash. Check Payments & subscriptions in your Play Store; if bKash isn't listed there, it isn't available on your account.

Do Google Play gift cards bought with bKash work?

Usually not on a Bangladeshi account. Google sells Play gift cards only in certain countries, Bangladesh isn't one, and cards only redeem in the country and currency they were sold for.

Are cheap Minecraft accounts on Facebook groups safe?

No. They are shared, stolen or cracked accounts, and the real owner can take them back at any time. Buy the game on your own account instead.
