Editorial Policy: What minecraft.bd Will and Won't Publish
minecraft.bd is unofficial and not tied to Mojang or Microsoft. Our rules: original writing, no piracy, no invented local data, no ads or affiliates.
minecraft.bd is an independent fan site. This page sets out what we will and won’t publish, how we relate to Mojang and Microsoft, and how the site is paid for. Everything here is written by the minecraft.bd Editorial Team.
We are not official
minecraft.bd is not an official Minecraft product. It is not approved by, associated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Mojang or Microsoft. “Minecraft” and related names and marks belong to Mojang. We follow Mojang’s usage guidelines for fan content: we write about the game, we don’t imitate Minecraft’s logo or branding, and we never suggest that a page is official.
When we describe something only Mojang or Microsoft can do, such as account recovery, refunds or bans, we send readers to the official channel. Our official support guide lists them.
Original writing
Pages on this site are written for minecraft.bd. We don’t copy articles, wiki pages or other sites’ guides. We do use other sources to check facts, and we name them on the page. How we decide which sources to trust is in our fact-checking policy.
What we don’t publish
Piracy. No links to or instructions for cracked launchers, modified APKs, “free full version” downloads or “unblocked” copies. When people ask how to play for free, we point to the legitimate options, like the official demo and Minecraft Classic, on our page about whether Minecraft is free.
Invented local information. We don’t make up Bangladeshi servers, communities, events, creators, prices or statistics. Pages in the Bangladesh section only state what we could confirm, say when we checked, and say plainly when we couldn’t confirm something.
Unchecked claims. No seed numbers we haven’t tested, no “secret” mechanics we can’t reproduce, no version claims without a version.
Account and payment risk. We don’t recommend unofficial sellers of accounts, capes or Minecoins, and we don’t publish anything that asks readers for their login details.
Money
At launch, minecraft.bd carries no advertising and no affiliate links. Nobody pays us to mention a product, server or store. If this ever changes, any sponsored content or affiliate link will be labeled on the page where it appears, and this policy will be updated first.
Prices and time-sensitive facts
Prices, versions and availability change. When we give a price, it’s the official one, with the date we checked it, and we tell you where to see the current figure. Pages about updates say which release they were written against.
Corrections
If we get something wrong, we fix it and update the page date. You can report a mistake through our contact page. Significant corrections, such as a wrong recipe or a mechanic that changed, are re-checked against official sources and the game before the page is updated.
